The POLY-DESIGN project aims to enhance polymer production by integrating molecular design with processing stages. It develops a multi-scale modeling tool to optimize properties and improve sustainability in both synthesis and final shaping of polymers.
A challenge in the polymer industry is the design of molecular and morphological properties along the whole production chain, minimizing energy consumption and product heterogeneity, and ensuring recyclability.
