This project explores the interaction between light and matter in microcavities, focusing on cavity-polaritons and their potential to mediate superconductivity in electrons. It aims to investigate novel quantum states and enhance optical interactions, paving the way for advanced optical devices.
Reversible coupling of excitons and photons in a microcavity leads to the formation of mixed light-matter quasiparticles, called cavity-polaritons.
