This project investigates light-matter interactions in nanoscale systems, focusing on polaritons and their unique properties. The research aims to develop spin-optronic devices by manipulating the spin of polaritons in quantum microcavities.
The investigation of light-matter interactions nano- scale objects attracts the growing interest of researchers.
This interest is largely motivated by the possibility of reaching the strong light-matter coupling regime, where the elementary excitations – polaritons – have a hybrid, half-light half-matter nature.
