The POWOHEP project focuses on optimizing the performance of floating offshore wind turbines by integrating wave energy converters. It aims to enhance platform stabilization and energy efficiency using machine learning for control strategies.
Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWTs) have become an emerging trend in wind energy development in the past few years.
They offer the possibility of a clean power supply for highly populated countries with access to a deeper offshore area.
