This project explores the intersections of grief, trauma, and environmental degradation in post-imperial Turkey and its European diasporas. It aims to develop feminist and queer perspectives on climate trauma and slow violence, focusing on how these experiences are represented in modern Turkish literature.
The increasing currency of the Anthropocene era demands new ways of thinking about grief and trauma which are both personal and cultural experiences.
