This project aims to enhance urban transport systems by developing advanced inspection and sensor technologies for railway tracks. It focuses on creating an intelligent image acquisition system and self-monitoring track components to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure a reliable service for users.
The environmental, societal, and economic drivers of an efficient urban transport system are well acknowledged and are reflected in the local transport plans of all major urban areas.
