PLUG-N-HARVEST is developing a modular system for adaptable building envelopes that maximizes energy efficiency and renewable energy harvesting. This system aims to be cost-effective and scalable for both residential and commercial buildings, promoting sustainable construction practices.
Conventional Retrofitting (CR) can result in high energy use reductions at the expense of high installation costs and, usually, without being able to directly perform harvesting from Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
