The PicoPix project aims to create advanced Low Gain Avalanche Detectors with exceptional timing resolution for particle tracking in high energy physics and imaging. By enhancing pixelation, timing accuracy, and radiation resistance, it seeks to advance both scientific research and industrial applications.
The PicoPix project will develop and deliver pixelated and radiation hard Low Gain Avalanche Detectors (LGAD) with sub 30-ps timing resolution for 4D particle tracking in high energy physics and imaging applications.
