This project focuses on silicon nanocrystals and their potential in creating hybrid materials for solar energy conversion. By combining these nanocrystals with other molecules, the aim is to enhance the efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of solar cells.
Silicon nanocrystals (SiNCs) have gained much attention in the last few years because of their remarkable optical and electronic properties, compared to bulk silicon.
