This project explores the collective behavior of swimming microorganisms in aquatic environments, focusing on their interactions with fluid dynamics. It aims to enhance understanding of their motility and dynamics, which are crucial for addressing ecological and environmental challenges.
Microorganisms are present in almost every part of temperate aqueous environments, and they are heavily involved in pathoenic infection, digestion, reproduction and carbon dioxide capture and mixing in the oceans.
