The project explores the application of quantum technologies to develop new devices and investigate fundamental aspects of quantum mechanics. It focuses on hybrid optomechanical systems to study quantum foundations and thermodynamics.
The recent advancement in quantum technologies and control raises the fascinating possibility to employ them for developing a whole new generation of devices based on the laws of quantum mechanics.
