PERCOLATE investigates the mechanics of rock deformation and fluid flow in supercritical geothermal energy reservoirs. By integrating advanced imaging and machine learning techniques, the project aims to enhance understanding of geothermal energy extraction, contributing to renewable energy goals.
Supercritical geothermal energy is a new frontier in the pursuit of renewable, carbon-free energy.
