PERCISTAND aims to enhance the efficiency of solar energy conversion by developing tandem photovoltaic devices using thin film perovskite and chalcogenide materials. The project focuses on creating prototypes that achieve high efficiency and stability while being cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
A realistic approach to increase the efficiency of photovoltaic (PV) devices above the Shockley-Queisser single-junction limit is the construction of tandem devices. PERCISTAND focuses on the development of advanced materials and processes for all thin film perovskite on chalcogenide tandem devices.
