This project investigates how visual function reorganizes in the brain after a unilateral lesion. It combines behavioral studies and brain imaging to understand the neural mechanisms behind blindsight and conscious vision, aiming to develop personalized rehabilitation protocols.
The present project aims at casting light on the neural and cognitive reorganization of visual function following unilateral lesion at various levels of the central visual system such as optic tract, optic radiation, primary visual cortex, extrastriate visual areas.
