This research focuses on podocytes, specialized kidney cells, and their role in chronic kidney disease. By studying molecular pathways and structural changes in podocytes, the project aims to identify new therapeutic strategies to slow kidney disease progression.
My research project is focused on the biology of the podocyte during chronic kidney disease progression, one of the major public health challenges of the 21st Century.
