This project aims to develop peptide-based nanoparticles and nanocapsules for sustained drug delivery to the eye's posterior segment. It combines expertise in self-assembling materials and drug release to create biodegradable and biocompatible delivery systems.
This project will develop methodology for the manufacture of novel peptide-based nanoparticles and nanocapsules to satisfy an unmet clinical need: sustained drug delivery to the posterior segment of the eye.
