This project investigates the interactions between Earth's geological processes and biological evolution, particularly focusing on mantle convection. By creating advanced 3D simulations, it aims to uncover how these processes influence environmental stability and the adaptation of life over geological time scales.
The Earth's geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere have co-evolved together as a single planetary system for billions of years, resulting in a complex web of systemic interactions that have shaped the geological record and biodiversity.
