This project investigates the relationship between obesity and pancreatic cancer progression, focusing on the interactions between fat cells and tumor cells. By utilizing advanced metabolic analyses and animal models, it aims to uncover new mechanisms that could lead to effective therapies for this aggressive cancer.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the most lethal malignancies, showing a high rate of metastatic spread and a dismal prognosis.
