PANA aims to develop early diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s disease by focusing on tau oligomers. The project combines advanced imaging techniques with smart nanoparticles to improve diagnosis and treatment delivery.
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the leading cause of dementia and loss of autonomy in the elderly, implying a progressive cognitive decline and limitation of social activities.
