CGS Europe aims to enhance carbon dioxide geological storage across Europe by creating a collaborative network of expertise. The project focuses on building a centralized knowledge repository and facilitating large-scale demonstrations to support stakeholders in implementing effective carbon capture strategies.
The EU has made significant progress in CCS as a bridging technology for combating climate change, but this must now accelerate and be spread evenly throughout EU Member States and Associated Countries.
