The P.R.I.M.E. initiative supports the international mobility of postdoctoral researchers, facilitating their career development in Germany. It offers mentorship, employment integration, and funding for both outgoing and return phases, promoting transnational collaboration and enhancing the European research landscape.
Looking back at many years of experience in managing individual stipend programmes, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is working on the implementation of the principles of the European Charter for Researchers by setting up a new programme:
P.R.I.M.E. – Postdoctoral Researchers International Mobility Experience.
The initiative is designed to support outgoing mobility of experienced researchers of all nationalities who plan to continue their career in Germany upon their return.
