This project focuses on developing a novel antibody drug conjugate (ADC) targeting ovarian cancer by utilizing a specific autoantibody that binds to a stable epitope of the MUC16 protein. The goal is to enhance the effectiveness of cancer treatment while minimizing harm to healthy tissues.
Ovarian cancer (OC) is a malignant tumor with poor prognosis and limited treatment options, responsible for 4.4% of cancer-related mortality in women.
There is an urgent need for innovative therapeutic approaches for OC.
