This project investigates the emergence and function of nonrandom connectivity patterns in rat cortical neurons. By analyzing synaptic modifications and cortical activity, it aims to understand how these patterns influence the dynamics of neural circuits and the distribution of synaptic weights.
Recent neurophysiological experiments have revealed the existence of nonrandom connectivity patterns in the cortex of rats.
