This project explores the interactions between DNA nanostructures and biological systems to enhance drug delivery. It aims to design DNA origami structures inspired by viruses to study their targeting capabilities and immune responses in living organisms.
The forces governing the nano-biointeractions are essential to understand the biological behaviour and pharmacokinetics of the nanostructures.
So far, these understandings have been limited to nanoparticles.
