OPNEX focuses on designing advanced architectures and protocols for multi-hop wireless networks using system optimization techniques. The project aims to enhance the capacity and efficiency of wireless communication systems through rigorous theoretical frameworks and practical validation.
OPNEX delivers a first principles approach to the design of architectures and protocols for multi-hop wireless networks.
Systems and optimization theory is used as the foundation for algorithms that provably achieve full transport capacity of wireless systems.
