The project develops ONCORED, a medical device utilizing photobiomodulation to treat oral mucositis and dermatitis caused by cancer therapies. This innovative solution aims to enhance treatment efficacy by providing controlled red-light therapy, addressing a critical need in oncology care.
Today the healthcare system is under great pressure, suffering the challenges brought by cancer and the ageing of the population.
Among these challenges is the need for treating oral mucositis (OM) and dermatitis.
