This project focuses on preserving and maintaining ancient water masonry structures in Egypt and other regions. By integrating expertise from Europe and Egypt, it aims to develop innovative preservation methodologies essential for sustaining these vital water distribution systems.
In Egypt, other African, Arabic countries and some European countries there are hundreds of old water masonry structures that are in bad need of preservation and maintenance.
These structures are suffering from several problems, salinity attack, cracks and other difficulties.
