This project develops a novel laser technology for narrow band light sources, improving early detection of cancer and diabetes. The compact and cost-effective lasers offer a range of wavelengths, making them suitable for various biomedical imaging applications.
Narrow band light sources can provide doctors such information on a patient which is not (or is barely) visible using conventional white light sources.
