This project explores new metamaterials that enhance nonlinear optical properties, enabling advanced applications like harmonic generation and optical information processing. It aims to integrate organic polymers to improve efficiency in these optical systems.
Metamaterials are artificial photonic structures that have revolutionised the field of optics by bringing an array of novel optical properties and applications into reality such as negative refraction and invisibility cloaking.
