This project aims to develop a compact and versatile microwave photonic generator that outperforms traditional quartz oscillators by utilizing optical resonators with ultra-high quality factors. The goal is to achieve ultra-stable microwave generation for applications in aerospace and optical communications.
Aerospace and communication engineering technologies are in constant need of microwaves with extremely high spectral purity and stability.
Unfortunately, the generation of such ultra-pure microwaves with compact, versatile and transportable sources is still a very complex challenge.
