The D^2EPC project aims to develop dynamic Energy Performance Certificates for buildings using smart data collection and digital twin technology. It seeks to enhance building energy efficiency, promote zero-energy buildings, and provide user-centered recommendations for energy renovations through a digital platform.
D^2EPC ambitiously aims to set the grounds for the next generation of dynamic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for buildings.
The proposed framework sets its foundations on the smart-readiness level of the buildings and the corresponding data collection infrastructure and management systems.
