This project aims to advance the Langlands programme by integrating representation theory and number theory through the study of Newton strata. It seeks to establish new results and connections between classical and adic approaches in arithmetic geometry.
The Langlands programme is a far-reaching web of conjectural or proven correspondences joining the fields of representation theory and of number theory.
