This project explores the relationship between citizen involvement in political decision-making and democratic legitimacy. Through surveys and experiments across Europe, it aims to assess how participatory processes can enhance trust and engagement in democratic systems.
All across Europe democratic political systems are confronted with a citizenry that questions the democratic legitimacy of their political system.
