The SNO+ project is a neutrino experiment utilizing a large liquid scintillator detector to investigate the nature of neutrinos. It aims to determine whether neutrinos are Dirac or Majorana particles by searching for a specific type of decay, while also exploring various aspects of neutrino physics.
SNO+ is a high potential, multi-faceted neutrino experiment consisting of a kiloton liquid scintillator detector surveyed by about 10,000 photomultiplier tubes (PMTs).
