This project explores the neuronal mechanisms behind goal-directed decision-making in the prefrontal cortex, focusing on how choices are represented and evaluated. Using advanced imaging techniques in mice, it aims to uncover the synaptic basis of decision-making and its implications for neuropsychiatric disorders.
