The Net-UBIEP project seeks to improve energy performance in the building sector by developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) Qualification Models. These models will integrate energy competencies to enhance understanding of energy issues throughout the building lifecycle.
The building sector is the largest consumer of energy in Europe, accounting for nearly 40% of the total consumption (EPBD 2010/31/EU).
