This project aims to create a robust model for predicting long-term coastal changes due to climate impacts. By integrating innovative field monitoring methods and existing data, the team seeks to enhance coastal management strategies and mitigate socio-economic risks.
The unprecedented growth of coastal communities has led to € billions worth of developments and infrastructure within the coastal zone.
Therefore, future coastal hazards, which are likely to be exacerbated by climate change, will result in massive socio-economic and environmental impacts.
