This research investigates the role of the Nef protein in HIV and other retroviruses, focusing on its multifunctionality and how it enhances viral infectivity. The goal is to uncover new strategies to combat viral infections.
Despite decades of intense research, HIV and other retroviruses retain still surprisingly obscure features, which we need to understand.
