The three-dimensional optical measurement of objects and surfaces is a state of the art technology in many industries like the automotive or medical sector.
It is used for the reverse engineering process, the quality management and new fields of application like inspection and accelerated development process.
The total cost of such a system ranges from 25T€ to 200T€ making it almost not affordable for SMEs which can therefore not benefit from this technology compared to LEs.
