This project aims to enhance the stress tolerance of vegetable crops such as tomatoes and peppers through genetic research. By identifying key genes and employing advanced breeding techniques, it seeks to improve crop yields and quality under adverse environmental conditions.
Yield and nutritional properties of vegetable crops are affected by unfavorable environmental conditions, such as drought, salinity, extreme temperatures, and pollutants.
