This project develops a novel voltage sensor for neurons using voltage-sensing semiconductor nanorods that integrate into neuronal membranes. The sensors enable non-invasive, high-resolution imaging of action potentials and calcium fluctuations, enhancing our understanding of electrical properties in brain cells.
