This research explores the use of metal-based nanomaterials as a targeted cancer treatment. By leveraging the intrinsic toxicity of these materials and employing tumor-homing cells, the project aims to enhance treatment efficacy and specificity against difficult-to-treat cancers.
In our current society, therapeutic strategies against cancer suffer from dose-limiting toxicity, lack of specificity and high morbidity.
