NANODETECT focuses on developing nanosensors for monitoring contaminants in liquid food processes, specifically milk. These sensors will enhance quality control by detecting pathogens, toxins, and drug residues, and will be adaptable for both large and small-scale applications.
In NANODETECT, the nanoreaction technology will be used to develop on-line and off-line monitoring systems (sensors) which combine the expertise of sensitive molecular biological processes with the potency of nanotechnology for application in liquid process food streams.
The nanosensors will interact with information technology tools and thus contribute to improved quality control systems within small and large industries.
