The NanoCO2RE project aims to develop advanced nanocrystals that can efficiently convert carbon dioxide into useful chemicals. By studying the life stages of these nanocrystals, the project seeks to enhance their stability and performance as catalysts in chemical reactions.
Materials that efficiently and selectively catalyse the reduction of CO2(CO2RR) into chemical feedstocks would open the path to a sustainable zero-emission energy conversion cycle in the making of fuels and base chemicals.
