The NAMASTE project focuses on transforming by-products from fruit and cereal processing into valuable food ingredients and feeds. It aims to develop sustainable methods for utilizing citrus, mango, pomegranate, wheat, and rice bran waste to create healthier food products and enhance market opportunities.
According to the EU-India Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement, there is a converging Indian and European interest in finding promising valorization routes and markets for fruit and cereal processing by-products and wastes.
