NAIF aims to enhance collaboration among European animal research facilities to optimize resources and improve research capabilities in animal infectiology. The project focuses on sharing knowledge, managing biological resources, and providing access to various infrastructures for better research outcomes.
Europe possesses several experiment facilities holding the level 3 of bio safety, which is required to study the large majority of zoonoses, emerging diseases and a number of other animal infectious diseases.
