N-LINK examines the impact of the Norman Conquest on settlement patterns in England and Italy. By analyzing historical landscapes and using geographic information systems, the project aims to understand how the Normans shaped these regions and their identities.
The main aim of N-LINK is to compare England and Italy before and after the Norman Conquest, exploring specific European case studies of historic landscape evolution.
