The MyoNanoCell project aims to develop innovative therapies for cardiac fibrosis by creating nanohybrids that enhance heart tissue regeneration. This approach focuses on improving the microenvironment of the heart and promoting the growth of heart cells to restore function.
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide, accounting roughly for 45% of all deaths in Europe and costing billions of euros to the European Union economy.
