The STAR TREE project aims to enhance the management of multi-purpose trees and non-wood forest products in Europe. By providing tools and guidance, it seeks to improve marketability and profitability, supporting sustainable rural development and economic growth.
Europe has set a clear and ambitious strategy (Europe 2020 Strategy) to base its economy on a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
