The MultiNetMetrics project focuses on understanding the dynamic behavior of interconnected financial networks and their layers. It aims to develop new econometric methods to analyze these networks, enhancing insights into economic and financial relationships.
Network analysis has been recently used in economics and finance for studying macroeconomic and financial crises.
It has shown to contribute to a better understanding of complex systems of interconnected financial institutions and markets.
